Gorgeous George was a classic case of a persistent problem in the horse industry – he just wasn’t “good enough” for what someone wanted him to be. Instead, George became better than what anyone could imagine when Annette took him in and allowed him to flourish in his own right.
A warmblood-thoroughbred cross, George also successfully competed in The Special Olympics, showing that he had all the right intangibles and gentlemanly ways to guide his riders for the win.
